Paphiopedilum Norito Hasegawa

Another one blooming right now, probably near the end since it's been open for 4 or 5 weeks. The spike took a very long time to form and bloom. Much bigger flower and deeper yellow than the FD I just posted but way less flat. Oh well, I like it anyway. Seems to have a slight 'woodsy'/cedar fragrance when I stick my nose right in there. Doesn't show in these photos but the pouch is heavily speckled inside and looks almost orange when the light shines through it.

The malipo influence makes it slow to bloom; but it contributes to the fragrance. Thanks for sharing.
