Whatever happened with John M? He kind of fell off the radar. He use to post here all the time.

JM is taking a break from orchids as he had some friend issues. But I’m in weekly contact with him and he’s doing ok. He checks on here once a while.

I love how he staked it! I have never known what to do with these gangly successive bloomers. I hope one gives me the chance to try this one of these days.

The owner Cathy did a wreath staking method and created this marvellous look.

What's the fluffy thing above the pot in the pictures? Is it some sort of fern or loose potting media?

It is a bit of moss used to hide the staking clip. Our display leader is obsessive in hiding clips.
