Fred, in your opinion, true species or is possible a natural hybrid of henryanum x lockianum (or similar)?
As you are aware the consensus is natural hybrid elevated to species. Personally I could go with species from the beginning.

Very nice flower. As to its status.....I never had any doubt of it being a true species as well as Olaf Gruss in his article in 'Die Orchidee' 02/2021.
Native English speakers read only the 'Abstract' which is written in English.

My opinion is that this was a natural hybrid that has stabilized in its ecotype and subsequent speciation. The pink pouch is a dominant feature of henryanum and passes on to all its hybrids. Or this could be a variety of henryanum. A DNA study will confirm the relationship in the future.
