Anyone can tell me what is the difference between esquireli and hirrsutissimum?

Well, I'll ask young master Esquirolei if he agrees... :rollhappy:

Already made the comparison of hirsutissimum/esquirolei traits and this together with comparing to the last years flower on the same plant leads me to - no conclusion at all. :poke: So, if orchids & more are right - which is easy to say - this one arrived labeled esquirolei and will stay esquirolei. :mad:

The spike is short this year due to a heavy mealy-bug infestation while still nesting in the sheath. After cleaning it did grow on, but stayed short.
