Got this flask from Sam. Time to pot up. He grows out in seedling bark and generously gave me some mix… I failed with a flask of these in bark before and am tempted to try a mix of Japanese kanuma and pumice. Anybody care to weigh in? It’s potting day….thank you!

I would pot it in bark, perlite and sphagnum moss for these little guys. I would also add a bit of dolomite sand to the mix. Keep in a ziploc bag with plastic straws to keep the bag from folding over. They need to be acclimatized slowly to your environment. Use toilet paper to dry the crowns after watering to avoid crown rot.
