This is the first P. dayanum too bloom for me, I bought it approx 10 years ago - Unfortunately the dorsal is a little bit damaged -

I used to have a dayanum, and it definitely wasn't a frequent bloomer. Thankfully it had some really nicely patterened leaves.

How big are the flowers on yours? I was always surprised when mine bloomed by how big they actually were in person, compared to how they look in photographs.

Flower span is 12 cm - got it as seedling or very young plant (perhaps a selfing)
