Bought recently in bud to Popow.

Ciliolare leaves are often tessetaled but sometimes not, like this one. It depends of the origin area.

I believe this only come from Mindanao, specifically in Bukidnon. I like this species, and this clone is excellent.

reminds me of superbiens, a bit.

...That is what I was thinking.

Those who have divided genus Paphiopedilum down to the subsection level put ciliolare and superbiens together in subsection Loripetalum, along with dayanum. You've noticed the same close family resemblance in this very nice example of ciliolare.
