gorgeous! Fond memories of this species. I went on a field trip when I was 12 and saw some for sale on the streets. They were planted in clay! Broke some back to the city and voila they all just died.

Very nice Paph. argus, Leslie .... but the reddish petal tips seem to be quite common within this species.
Yes red petals are common in this species (a known trait).

I meant to say that this species can be used to breed red petal hybrids if matched with red petal venustums (as other species will wipe out this red in progeny).

The first Paph in bloom that

The first Paph I saw in bloom as well in a market a few decades ago.
