I agree with Leslie: it's Hilmar Bauch's handwriting and if the zoom doesn't fool me, it reads '... var album'. As they would say in his native tongue: "Na, mal gucken" ("Well, we'll see") or maybe

Looks like the window and humidity by the extra moss is not helping the bud development very well. I wonder why?
