First flowering for this one, colours are very vibrant
a pretty species
Nice. Mine is in spike, but it's very slow.
Very delicate flower. In general I like P. acmodontum and yours especially.
Nicely done. Where did it come from? QF?
Nice flower... tall dorsal. Take a picture with a background other than white and the color will show much better.
I also have two in bud and they are a little slow to progress.
Indeed very nice one!
Thanks all, unfortunately I don’t have a black background otherwise I would have used it, it definitely makes for a better photo.
It’s from Assendorfer.
A trick: if you have a black/dark t-shirt, hang it over the back of a chair and put the plant in front of it. Plant either on the chair side or the back side.
I tried using a black coat but it didn’t work! Will try the t shirt trick next time, thank you
I probably have it's brother, mine will bloom soon after it tried to bloom last year but the bud welted early.
Nice. Not often seen. I have a few in bud. Let’s see if as good as yours.
Tried the black t shirt trick and got a much improved photo - thank you
That’s beautiful! My plant is in bloom now, but colors aren’t near as vibrant as this bloom!
Much better with the black background color
I’ll say! Really made the colors pop!
