First bloom seedlings of wardii 'Prince Charles' AM/AOS x 'Red Blackbird'. Of course the flower on the right I broke off trying to take the photo.

Ok I know this cross. A very good friend and an inactive member here, Rick Lockwood owns the 'Prince Charles ' clone and made the cross using my 'Blackbird ' plant. He sends all his pods to Troy Meyers. BTW, you can drop the word RED from parent's name. I never used RED as part of the clonal name. The petals on the Blackbird clone are nearly solid black, hence the name.

Nice to know! I'll correct the labels, not sure why Meyers Conservatory had that on the label.... I have several more in bud and a large handful yet to bloom. Will be interesting to see the genetics in action.
