    I have always admired this species but somehow only got around to obtaining a seedling a couple years ago, which has now flowered for me. I'm happy it flowered true unlike my dayanum which bloomed out lawrencianum. volonteanum0419.jpg

    It actually looks more like hookeri then volonteanum. Do you have a pic of the leaves, especially the underside?

    I do now. Thanks for the inquiry. From what my research turned up and these pics, I am now certain it is volonteanum.
