This is one of my favorite "heirloom" paphs. Registered in 1890 (niveum x philippinense) It had a fantastic blooming season this year for me.

Nice, outstretched petals! :clap:

The only brachy x phil cross I ever bloomed had a soft brown tone and droopy petals that looked kind of like hound dog ears. It was one of the ugliest flowers I've ever seen. This one, however is very pretty.:)

this has been in my wish list since I can remember... now the question is... if it is a brachy x polyantha.. then aren't they meant to be hard to flower?
