This is one of my favorite "heirloom" paphs. Registered in 1890 (niveum x philippinense) It had a fantastic blooming season this year for me.

The only brachy x phil cross I ever bloomed had a soft brown tone and droopy petals that looked kind of like hound dog ears. It was one of the ugliest flowers I've ever seen. This one, however is very pretty.

this has been in my wish list since I can remember... now the question is... if it is a brachy x polyantha.. then aren't they meant to be hard to flower?
