Never mind, I just found the name on the RHS site, it's Hsinying Alien. Anyway, here are some pictures. It just opened. I think this one will flower 2 or 3 times a year. I got it in the winter in flower and it is flowering again and has a new growth already that started a little after I saw it was in sheath.

This photo is pretty true to color, it's just a little darker in person

This one is a lot redder than it really is but it was a nice picture so I figured I'd put it up...

I'm guessing that when it is mature it can bloom that much...the spike is 13 inches long...just went to measure
