Got this plant as a seedling in late 2007 and has flowered many times! About 5 years ago, I pruned the roots to fit in a smaller pot and it resented the repotting process.

Got it to flower last year and now it is in flower again.

Nice. I tried many strange things to grow my Paphs......but I would never ever prune the roots.

Is this the clone that bloomed with 5 or 6 flowers and a monster of a plant?
You might of been better off dividing rather then purning.

Yes it is. I totally agree with you on that. Last time I repotted it, it could easily be separated into 3 divisions.

Pruning is not an issue if new roots were coming out at the same time. Maybe it was wrong season to repot?

It was having problems as the new leaves started getting fertilizer burn on the new leaf tips so I had to change it to bark, sphagnum moss and large perlite.

Any blooming stonei is a great stonei! I agree, beautiful pouch color. Glad it seems to be picking up steam again!
