Here is my spicerianum which is currently in bloom

and the whole plant

The one on the left made a complete loop out of the spike before getting upside right. It was the smallest of the three growths that bloomed out of a five growth plant. This was the first blooming for this plant. I do not understand why this plant did not bloom the larger growths before growing to this large a plant and then blooming three at once on its first blooming. Your thoughts appreciated.

Great plant! Not an unusual bloom habit though...I've seen it many times. Sometimes a paph doesn't bloom for a few years, then blooms on a few growths...the next few seasons it will bloom on the next maturing growth. I've even seen this pattern with Maudiae's. take care, Eric

Another one of my favourites. I think the colour combination in this species is stunning. Beautiful
