Paph spicerianum

Hi all.....after a brief time away I decided to come back. My orchids are doing very well and I have many in bud.

This is Paph spicerianum ‘Gregory’. I was pleasantly surprised to see two buds. It hasn’t bloomed for two years so maybe it’s trying to make up for missing a year. :rollhappy:

Looks good! Both the new growing setup and the spic - seems to be both a big plant and a quite big flower...and a twofer!

A really stunning bloom, I really struggle with this species.

Whats your tips?

It doesn’t get anything really special. Grown outside during the warmer months in a bright spot. In cold months it is in our south facing window. Fine bark, perlite and a little sphagnum moss mixed in and kept relatively moist. I tend to be a dry grower so it stays mostly on the dry side of moist.

The second flower is almost fully open. Photo update soon.
