Dot, we always seem to be thinking the same thing at the same time! I
love spicer. and this one is very pretty. I think the staminode is the most
attractive part of the bloom...nothing quite like it.

That is true....I'm less tempted right now because it gets cold here at night now....though I have seen sites advertising the use of heat packs for shipping, but I don't know how good they are....yet! :wink:

Heat packs work quite well, provided the plant gets to its destination before the heat expires.

There are different brands and sizes, and each has a different time length on the package. I think some are advertised to last 72 hrs?
