It is finally time for some of my Paphs to start blooming and I can again participate with slippper photos

This species is from the Celebes.

I'd love to have one of these.
I've heard they are very hard to grow and flower.
I'll probably wait a bit longer.

I thought you said sangii was on your wish list. When did you buy it and is it the Luca x Darkest clone Piping Rock carries?

I don't expect the petals to spread any...this species looks like that.

I don't grow it differently than grow any other one of my Paphs. Fine bark mix, intermediate, watered frequently during warm weather less in the winter. Fertilize on a regular basis.
