I just would to share this sanderianum beauty, what I saw on Hungarian Orchid Show at Budapest on last week. It sold there after the show for USD400. What do you think?

from other view:

Clonal name: Paph. sanderianum "Ping Tong" x self
Exhibitor and breeder: Sun Moon Orchids - Taiwan
Owner: Sun Moon Orchids
Petal length: 75cm - 30"

Matyas

If it were 'Ping Tong' itself, it is a very good price for the buyer. But it is a self cross plant from ' Ping Tong'.

If I use US$400 to buy a Paph, I would prefer a stonei alba big seeding or a rothschildianum with very promising quality.

It's a great sanderianum!!! I guess 400.00 is pretty good, I've seen a zephyrus sandy go for alot more that was not as good, stonei albas are very nice as well

Ok. Tomorrow will closeup photo come. But a little note for sceptics. Can anyone show me a hybrid that looks like exactly a sanderianum except Michael Koopowitz? MK has more reddish pouch and petals due to philippinense. Unfortunately not mine.
