This is the fourth time I have flowered this so it is disappointing it only has two flowers. But the new lead coming off this flowering growth is growing rapidly so hopefully it will reach a bigger size and hence produce more flowers.

David, you don't need a first class flowering roth to record a first class photograph. Flower count may be disappointing but so isn't your picture!

Fantastic pic! I don't know David. Hang on to it until some of your newer crosses bloom then decide what to do with it.

measurements?
Great photo.

NS - 24 cm, DS - 4cm

Clones such as Tarantula and Tokyo Fantasy must look enormous because even small clones such as this seem impressively big.

I'll be keeping this plant for a while as it is my only big roth. It has another four unflowered growths of various sizes which means it will flower regularly from now on.

Thanks Chris. When the 2nd flower opened at 90 degrees from the other flower I was a little frustrated. But I think roth flowers look better at a 45 degree angle, especially if they don't have big dorsals such as this clone. The flower presentation made for a nice composition.

I like the "artistic" picture but I find it doesn't show well how is really the flower.
