I have a little story about this plant. The "weekend vendor", I call her that because she has a real job during the week. She is a good friend of mine and she had brought in a number of plants to sell at one of the HOS shows, including Paph lowiis. I looked over her Robinianums and picked out this really wide leafed plant along with one of the lowiis, wide leafed as well. She being an AOS judge, I told her this Robinianum was going to get awarded. It was in low bud at the time. About a month later I took it in. She wasn't on the judging team but it got it's AM and she was so jealous! She had brought in another one that hadn't sold and it paled compared to mine. To this day she still ask me about this plant. I think she wants a piece of it or me!
