Thank you, I'm happy with it too, especially since this is it's second spike after aborting the first on this van. I also like how it's willing to bloom on such a small plant.

I had one of these about 15 years ago that I got form Wacahoota orchids in FL. It had 3-4 beautiful flowers and then "something" happened and it went downhill very quickly. I have not seen another one at shows or listed for sale in years. Thanks for showing yours. When these plants get bigger they put on a great show. I think they can be difficult though because of inter-sectional nature of the cross-suk and philippense are not closely related. It least that was my theory after I murdered mine!

Jim, that's an interesting point you made about inter-sectional crosses, the same can be said of many plants. I hope this one will continue to thrive. The grower, Claudio (Clouds) seemed to be quite pleased with them.
