B790D49A-80E3-4290-8A6D-8BC82F7EF397.jpeg The cross is P Fair Fred x P primulinum. P Fair Fred has fairrieanum and small percentages of several Barbata species and a few others. The flowers open sequentially but after 3 weeks or so they are all open together. 3 buds this year but have had as many as 5. The flowers have a faint sweet fragrance.

That's such an unexpected outcome to me. Everything from the flower shape and color, the fragrance, and the foliage is what I'd expect from a cochlo x parvi type cross, and that would have been my first guess had you not told me otherwise. Kind of neat.

What a lovely flower! So delicate looking. I would have guessed there's some emersonii in there if you hadn't told us.
