This was exhibited today for judging but was screened. Big flower at 15.5 ns. Flat as a pancake. I didnt get the screen sheet but word is that they didnt like the petals and the synsepal is a little crooked. Oh well, cant win em all.

It's actually quite a nice flower. Good size, flat dorsal and awesome color.

I do see a couple issues for this flower (which can improve greatly in next flowering):

1. petals are a little narrow and not mirror images of each other
2. the pouch looks a little indented at bottom on the observer right (flower left) ...maybe camera angle?

I think the synsepal width is good and it was the pouch that threw it off. Maybe show a pic from back?

I am sure on the next flowering it will be rewarded nicely. Keep up the good job.
