One bud remained from others that blasted from heat. One petal is also longer than the other and I think they still have some more growing to do. The petal tips are still hairy hairy. I still think it looks nice. It's the very first sanderianum hybrid to spike on me :)

Ok i think it's fully opened, the tips of the petals aren't furry anymore, and the petals are all nice and curly now and just a bit over a foot long.

It's probably not at its best but I still do love it.

Nice first bloom

and it can only get better. They grow ever so slowly--watching the grass grow is more rewarding. Mine just sits there looking green & pretty.
