Flower has opened and petal length has grown to 13 inches.

At first the petals were resting on lower leaves but I helped them hanging down.

Petals and color are very nice. Pity about the wave in the dorsal but it is unlikely to repeat next flowering

That's a beefy looking pouch and great petal colour. Pretty darn nice for a first blooming.

Well, don't be disappointed, but I think something is not right with the flower. Hope it will be better next time. Petal length is good tough.

This is my first flowering MP so I'm not disappointed. It's a young plant imported in May. So it should get better on next bloom when plant is stronger.
