Paph Magic Lantern (semi-alba)

Yes I was impatient to wait for this flower to open. Will update when the flower is fully developed. New imported repotted seedling arrived in bud last month. So I take no credit to bloom this. Well maybe a little bit. It can rot and die if I didn't care for it properly. :)

I have a few more in low bud. The foliage on this is lighter green than pink flower Paph Magic Lantern.

Lovely white flower with just a hint of blush in the pouch.
The first photo somehow reminds me of an egg beginning
to hatch...and look what popped out of the shell!!!
Gorgeous flower. The leaves are wonderful as well. I'd say this
one is very desirable for any collection.

I got my plants from Mainshow Orchids

I think they are the same batch as these photos posted to Facebook by I-Charm.

Mr Hsiao said in his comment that he thinks the originator is 大統蘭園

Although these failed to produce true alba. These are really nice looking.
