This is currently the only slipper that I have in bloom - everything else is either busy growing or recovering from blooming. The spike initiated back in January and the bud opened maybe a week or so ago. I apologize for the blemishes on the flower; I just moved cross-country and the plant spent two days cooped up in a vehicle, exposed to rather bright light and a fair bit of wind. I'm honestly surprised that the bud didn't abort at any point during transit, or even as summer ramped up, since my old and new growing areas are pretty hot.

Like my Magic Lantern, this one is from a delenatii var. dunkel breeding line, though the label does not list the specific parentage. In life, the flower is pale green with light pink flushes and striations, and a raspberry-red staminode. No fragrance on this clone, but the length of the spike and size of the bloom more than make up for it.

I'm growing this one in medium light in the bark/moss/perlite/leca mix that I give my other parvi hybrids. Since it's much more humid here than it was at my old place, stuff takes a lot longer to dry, and so I may have to put them into something a bit more open. We'll see how things go.
