Just won a paph. lowii compot on ebay-nicely grown by Monsoon Flora. What are their cultural requirements? I am growing the compot in a West window...Larry

P. lowii are pretty easy growers, and tend to like a bit less light than the other multis, however I have only ever had full grown ones, so I am not sure what to tell you about culture for a compot. Congratulations on your win though!

I've been raising some seedlings from some breeding I did a couple of years ago.
Compared to my big adult the babies have not been super aggressive growers, and seem pickier about growing only when its warmer and more humid.
I saved back my favorite 1/2 dozen and potted them up individually. The biggest has about a 5"LS. We'll see if it goes into a major growth spurt this summer.

Thank you for your responses. My seedlings still have some growing to do before I attempt to pot them up as individuals. Warmer weather is inevitible so growth should take off in short order.
