That reminds me of the saying "Don't eat the yellow snow." It was complex hybrids like this and the big round waxy ones that attracted me to slippers in the first place, although I never owned any until fairly rescently.

At a first glance on a smaller image (before logging in), I thought I was looking at a (complex x armeniacum) sort of hybrid.
I like this flower. I love yellow flowers.
