I find it interesting that there seem to be some common varieties in the appearance of the dorsal for helenae. Some with white rim some with a burnt sienna flame at the dorsal base. It makes me wonder if these are associated with original country of origin or there are subtypes?

I agree the alba form is pretty striking with a single color!

This is my favorite form of helenae, next to the all-lemon-yellow one.
 
Is this species known to be slow growing.? I've had one for a few years now and it is one of my slowest paphs (slower than parvis). I am not sure if I just have a bad one or I am doing something wrong!
