Lovely flowers, no doubt.
As to the name .... it comes from its habitat on the Chinese island Hainan ...some consider it as a variety to Paph. appletonianum and KEW Science as synonym to Paph. appletonianum.

Looks better in natural light?

I couldn’t really get a good enough photo I thought in daylight, but I think that’s more down to my lack of photography skills than the colours - I also thought darker gave a good contrast.
