Unfortunately fairrieanum F1 hybrids rarely have flat dorsal, a dominant feature of the species (along with the curved petals). But an equal bilateral mirror image of the dorsal curvature (and whole flower) might be the goal in this case, making it look more balance and ideal. Might correct in next bud or flowering.

Great coloring from the rung though.

That makes sense, thank you for the insight. The curves on the dorsal aren’t asymmetrical on this one but yes, will hopefully correct in future
 
post another picture after it's been open for a week..the color is great!! is it hard to grow?
