Just bloomed. The man who sold it to me said it's a very large, dark variety. I don't have any experience with this flower, but the flower is quite dark, I like it. (I took the photo in sunlight, didn't doctor anything.) It's my first blooming of this, and I suspect I may have a division of the plant, since I'm not seeing any previous blooms, but the guy knew how it flowers. No clonal name.

Oh, and to get it to flower, I fried it in the sun this summer. This guy likes sunlight.

Hmmm... I think you just converted the thumbnail to an image, it's only like an inch tall now!

Try this one.

You guys keep posting pictures of thing I have to WAIT for to bloom, boo hoo.

Very nice, I'll being adding one to my collection this year too, especially now that I seen yours!

Gotta say it again: Who needs hybrids????? Huh?

You took the words right of my mouth!!!
With regard to the beauty of this flower there is no heightening possible.
Perhaps you can improve any other characteristics of this species by hybridizing - but its beauty is unique.
Best regards from Germany, GuRu
