Paph Erika Potent is (hookerae x urbanianum).
I got both of these plants from Ernie at EnLightened Orchids
earlier this year. They were both in very low bud and are now blooming.
The first one opened about 2 1/2 weeks ago and there is a small color
break on the right petal. The 2nd one has only been open for a few days
now. I also took a shot of both plants together.

Enjoy!

(Thanks Ernie!)

Yeah, these are sweet. It is Orchid Zone breeding, and, yes, there are awards to all three of these similar hookerae crosses (siblings from these very batches) Shirley Amundson, Erika Potent, and Xanthophyllum. Hookerae can be moody, but these primaries are nifty- vivid colors, easy growing, compact, free-flowering. Cheers and thanks for sharing!

Really a wonderful cross. I think Erika and her husband Gerd Potent from Hamburg in Germany would be happy to see these plants full in flower.

Best greetings

Paph Erika Potent 'Miss Natasia' HCC/AOS

Well, that's the verdict from the judges today.
The flower pictured second (without the color break in the right petal)
was awarded an HCC today at the Tacoma monthly judging.

THANKS ERNIE!

LOL! :rollhappy:

That's NOT the Xanthophyllum though. :poke:

That one should be really spectacular once I get it to bloom.
I wont forget the name either.
