I got this a few years ago from John M. Blooms like clockwork every spring on the third year growth. Two years ago it started a new lead on the opposite side so I hope to have two or three flowers next spring. I give it a dry rest in Nov/Dec, watering about every 10 days instead of every 4-5. I've heard druryi needs a cool spell at the same time but it seems nobody told my plant. ;) This plant is also one that doesn't grow roots until the second or third year. I'll post those photos in another thread.

Nice smooth flower for this clone.

Mine was also a reliable bloomer, but it's gone into shock since I repotted. (Yup allot of runner with no roots yet). So It looks like it will be dying back to about 1/2 the growths it had before it picks up again.

Gregory -"She wanted a picture of the cat no? Why would she want a picture of a flower when she can have a picture of the cat?"

lovely species, Wendy. And your cat seems to appreciate its beauty to!!

Thanks all! No it isn't fragrant. I think that Gregory was sending it hate vibes...'if Mom wasn't looking you'd be salad.'

No I wasn't in Ottawa. It's a 5 hour drive...I went once a couple years ago and really enjoyed the show but the drive was too long. Maybe next year I will go and put in a display.
