LOL! Fitting clonal name for a Ray Rands named hybrid don't you think?
I got to pick from about a dozen plants just starting to open at Houston show. This was the darkest. The dorsal wasn't twisting either, which is common for this breeding. The vinicolor delenatii was used here.

Thanks all. The natural leaf span is 14.5 inches and 2 growths.
Its a rare opportunity to see a number of plants in bloom and to pick what you perceive as the best. I incourage everyone to not hesitate to pull your wallet out!

So, you saw a bunch of this same clone? It must be a real easy bloomer, then?

I saw about a dozen of this cross with all having at least one flower open. Most look like the original cross using a standard delenatii. In other words, white with pink veining, somewhat muddy. Only 3 were darker pink and this was the darkest with the best shape.

Oh, ok. So they’re not divisions of the same clone.
I saw a few in sheath at a nursery earlier this year. Did not take any as sheath on these hybrids do not necessarily mean flowers.
