I thought I'd post this photo so we can all get excited about my dianthum being in spike. ;)

I really like this angle. One of my favourite things about this species which people who don't grow it may not realize is that though it appears to have a "mahogany" colored pouch, it is actually a green pouch on the outside, with purple interior - almost a blueberry pie-like color. The interior color shows through the pouch causing it to appear more brownish from the outside. I find that fascinating.

Does anyone know who the pollinator is for this one?

I hemmed and hemmed and hawed about selling both my dianthum and parishii because they have been a little stubborn to bloom for me. I just couldn't do it though with both of them being so uncommon. And I really love the flowers!!
