I need to get a better camera or learn how to use this one. Maybe EricNY can give me a few pointers:poke: When I use the flash the flower looks more vini but I get glare. Here is natural lighting.

The lack of warts on the petals hence the name "smooth cherries" This is the first time for this plant to give double blooms. A Bonus! Rick H

The camera would be assisted by getting some lighting. I prefer not to use flash of any sort when taking bloom photos. Too many shadows. I usually resort to taking photos by natural light on a sunny day.

Darn I've been praying for rain, now I got to do sun?:D

I agree natural lighting is better. My camera doesn't do too poorly with flash though, but difficult plants photo outside

I love the smoothness of that paph. I'm sure it glares a lot in photo!
