    Paph. coccineum

    Hi Kyle,
I have an argument with another orchid (Paph) lover.
He is telling me the P. coccineum is a synonyms of babigerum var lockianum.
I say, babigerum var lockianum is a synonym of P. coccineum.
What is right and what is wrong.
    Thanks
    Albert

I think if you look up the definition of the word synonyn you'll find that your both correct.

If you want to know which name is valid, I'll get back to you.

Again, nice. Out of curiosity do you have the annoying plants, hangianum, jackii, etc?

Not sure if your asking me, but I have a hangianum seedling (about 2 inches across). I find it a hard, slow seedling to grow and doubt I'll ever get to see it flower. I've killed 4 of them. They aren't that expensive. Lots of people in Canada have bought flasks.

    No Jackii.
