OK, here's another.
I posted some still photos when this one bloomed, but didn't post the 3D. This is one of my favorites. Not the species (though I do like it), just the 3D. To me, the dorsal sepal ends up looking pretty rigid, like it's made of aluminum or something.
I'm going to take a look and see if I took photos for a second one that also show the leaves...
Someone suggested that this might be a natural hybrid, since the form is a little atypical for the species; petals are narrower, the dorsal is a little taller and narrower. I'm not sure what it could be a hybrid with, considering where it comes from... this may just be natural variation.
