Hi All,

My Paph callosum is blooming for a second time. It's got a bloom and a bud on one spike and a second spike with a single bud. It is 'Burma' x 'Jac', which makes it var. callosum x var. viniferum.

It's a significant improvement over the first bloom two years ago, which I didn't much care for. Perhaps it knew it was gonna be tossed if it didn't shape up.

It also has some very odd tiny appendages coming horizontally out from the base of the dorsal. These are in addition to the normal petals & sepals.

Current bloom:

Seems like the hooks were a 1-time thing. Also, the second bloom on the first spike was only about 2/3 the size of the first bloom. The plant only has 3 growths at the moment, so I'm hoping for more double blooms once it grows a bit.
