This I bought this year I am its first budding I am a small plant still:

This doesn't seem to be a Berneice. Petals are way too pendulous and that dorsal has a lot of glaucophylum in it. Looks to be sanderianum too.
Other theories??

It really is not the Berenice, that it is only its first budding still is a small plant
 
I'll say that it is a Berenice. The philippinense parent could have been roebelinii or laevigatum, only the petals haven't twisted. Here is mine with Roebelinii as the phili parent, off a single growth.

I agree with Roy. I could show you my Berenice photos that look very similar. The twists will come in the next week or two.
 
I too agree! The staminode is very much like the Paph. Berenice that has been awarded.
