This is a first-bloom seedling of Paph. Adilene Bobadilla x Honeycomb Creek that I purchased from Marriott Orchids a couple years ago. Its an unregistered hybrid. The flower has been open for a month, so it may not be at its prime. I'm not a good judge of complex Paphs, but this one looked just OK to me. Kind of different with its caramel coloring. Perhaps on next blooming the dorsal sepal and petals will flatten out a little more.

That cross was made by Wharton Sincler, Minnesota, he sold flasks of it about 7 or 8 years ago just before he closed Castlerock Orchids. I have a few coming along. I believe some others have bloomed with lots of spots. It was supposed to be a go at clear yellows and sunset colors, with some with heavy spotting.

Wow! I Really like that - wonderful coloring, and the shape is very graceful too.
