I know for sure that AnTec has anitum for a looooong time. I remember a slide of one of their adductum ( at that time it was under that name), I still have a copy of that slide somewhere, and it is definitely, for sure, and without any doubt possible an anitum. It was back in 1993-1994 I think. Some others anitum have been pictured in the 80's, and a couple awarded ( usually, any adductum with more than 2 flower is suspect to be an anitum, and any adductum with 4 flowers is nearly for sure an anitum in the AOS Awards database. Look under elliottianum as well...)
