Mine are growing very horizontal like that also - interesting growth habit.
Yeha! Now I have to take pics tomorrow to compare!

Okay, these are terrible photos. Can you tell it is a muggy yucky hot day here? No patience.

I'm really not sure how fabulous this bloom is going to be, the first spike is much farther along, the buds on the second are quite small. I think I still have a slight bit of soft scale and I don't know how that is going to affect things, but I am reticent to spray until after it blooms. After waiting a year, I am not messing much with this plant right now.
