It's Calypso bulbosa season in NorCal! Not the best quality because they're taken with an iPhone..

Goodyera pubescens (?) are not yet in bloom

Very nice, ty for sharing. I think that's g oblongifolia

I've not yet seen the eastern c bulbosa, on edges of their habitat they are very hard to find since they seem to be receding north (and I keep moving further south for work :( )

Yes, I think you may be right that it's G. oblongifolia.

There're some pretty cool orchids down south as well though : ) Sad to hear they're receding north.. the reality is that most orchid habitats are probably shrinking more and more
