Orchid Resuce

Hi, I work at lowes as the plant specialist and this past week we had to throw away everything that was not in bloom or was distressed because of poinsettias. When it came to the orchids I couldn't throw them away so I rescued 22 orchids from the trash. I rescued mostly dendrobiums, but also phals and a few oncidiums. I am offering them for sale for the simple reason I do not have any room for them. Saved to much already. As for the prices I am not doing this for a profit and I am only charging what I paid for them and shipping. Some dendrobiums are beginning to spike again. The phals have name tags but the oncidiums and dendrobiums do not. Again this is not for profit just to help some orchids and I have a very limited growing space or I would keep them all!

Prices for those who may be interested:
Yellow Oncidiums(couple were not yellow but in the oncidium family so who no's what you will get, they smelt like pepper if that make it clearer) $1.50
Sm. Dend. $1.50
Sm. Phal. $1.50
Big phal. $2.50
Big Dend. $2.50

I have never shipped anything before and it will of course be cost. Working so much lately I haven't had time to find shipping quotes. I do have a paypal account if that helps any one. I will send you a picture of the plant you will receive if you request it.

Although I appreciate the thread, hotlinking to a different forum really shouldn't be done for a few reasons. One, you need to be a member of that forum to view the photos-which many of SlipperTalk members aren't. And second, it's using their bandwidth.

Is there any way you can post the photos here? I know it's a pain, but....

Don't worry, all links (of a reasonable nature, obviously) are welcome here, even those that point to SOF. However, not everyone would be able to read it since membership there is required. To upload images, go to http://www.imageshack.us and upload your photo. On the next page, copy the very last URL. Come back to Slippertalk and then click on the icon in posting menu that looks like a mountain with a yellow background. Insert URL.

Also, when replying, scroll down to the "Additional Options" area and look for the imageshack upload area. That works too.
